• The hirer must be aged 18 or over.
• It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure they act responsibly and safely to protect the equipment and users from damage or injury;
• take duty of care and supervise children when using our equipment at all times;
• check if there are any skin or food allergies;
• ensure that no naked flames, matches or candles are near our equipment;
• ensure that pets are kept away from the equipment;
• ensure that sharp objects that can cause damage are not used near the equipment;
• ensure that make up/ face paint is removed before entering the teepees and brightly coloured substances (such as slime and glow sticks) and food/ drinks that are likely to stain are kept away from the equipment;
• ensure that shoes are removed before using the equipment;
• check there is enough room for the number of teepees hired - please see our size guide. (Slumber & Stars cannot refund the price of teepees unable to fit);
• ensure that sufficient space is cleared for the set up of the number of teepees hired in advance of delivery;
• ensure that parking and property access is available upon delivery and collection.
• The set-up and take down of equipment must only be performed by a member of Slumber &Stars.
• Teepees and equipment are for indoor use only and must not be taken outdoors.
• Smoking is strictly prohibited around the equipment.
• Equipment seen in photography may be subject to change but will always be of a similar nature or variety. Some equipment seen in photography are props and not included within the hire package.
• Prices are subject to change; however prices quoted at the time of booking will be honoured.
• All bookings require a £50 deposit to secure the date. Any damage to the equipment will result in this deposit being non refundable and an invoice sent for any extra cost incurred. The deposit will be returned in full within 48hrs of collection and all goods checked.
• The full balance of the booking must be paid within 7 days of the event taking place. Failure to do so will result in the booking being cancelled and the deposit withheld.
• Slumber & Stars require 14 days notice of cancellation for your deposit to be refunded. Cancellations within 7 days will result in the whole booking fee being nonrefundable.
• Alternations to the booking must be made within 7 days of the event date prior to the balance being paid. Slumber & Stars will try to accommodate alternations to the booking although this may not always be possible.
• Slumber & Stars reserves the right to cancel the booking at any time. A full refund of any monies paid in respect of the booking will be made within 14 days.
• Slumber & Stars is not responsible for any 3rd party costs or losses due to cancellation of a party.
• Slumber & Stars will provide the services in accordance with the contract and shall perform the services with reasonable skill, care and diligence.
• Slumber & Stars shall process all data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
• Slumber & Stars adheres to all copyright laws and themes are only inspired by popular trends.
• Slumber & Stars hold suitable public liability insurance and risk assessment documentation.
• All persons using this equipment do so at their own risk.
